This post is about bigotry, and people who are not on DU who equate Democrats and Republicans.

NOTE: This is not a divisive post, because it is against the rules to say that Democrats are the same as Republicans on DU. I'm talking about people you see who say that on sites like your local newspaper's site, who post inane comments under the articles that say that Democrats are the same as Republicans.

Basically, if you run into them, ask them if they still believe this after the Republicans have spent the week demagogue over the park 51 issue, and see what kind of excuses they use. They'll mention Harry Reid but try to steer away from talking about any other Democrats, I think.

I'm glad DU is for Democrats and people who appreciate the difference between them and the Republicans, and offer this advice to the people for when they are on other sites (like their local newspaper's site) where people are not united around the Democrats.
