DU, please tell me your thoughts. I was thinking about the media complicity in the Pentagon created propaganda after Pat's death & was wondering why no reporter revealed the truth earlier on. Do you think they honestly didn't know? Their complicity w/TPTB on this issue is undeniable.

They're all about ratings, and that would still be a huge story.

2. They ran the Jessica Lynch story with glee too
For that matter, every line of bullshit that has come out of these wars was accepted uncritically. I'm unable at the moment to think of any exceptions.
