Bear with me-my ltte thanking the docs who saved my life
Edited on Fri Aug-20-10 10:45 PM by w8liftinglady
it's sappy, but I want to let them know my gratefulness...and let my neighbors know the need for health and dental care for all...feel free to comment, and let me know if it sounds ok before I print it.

Sometimes things happen that strengthen your faith.I'd like to thank two people who have saved my life this year.

As residents of Waxahachie,we don't always realize how fortunate we are.I found out when I was rushed to the E.R. of Baylor Waxahachie. The nursing care was magnificent. One individual I'd like to thank, however,is Dr. Avian Kidd, who saved my life. The fact that we are blessed with him and his physician peers in Waxahachie is something to be grateful for.

I was transferred to U.T.Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. My neurology team was one of the top ten in the nation. It was there that I met my second miracle worker, Dr. Christopher Madden. Dr.Madden literally saved my brain.I owe him my life...and my ability to function normally again.

As I tell you these things,I remember people I have met who didn't have the same blessing, the same insurance, the same resources.I wonder how their lives might have changed had they been able to obtain early, preventative medical care.It has made me even more committed to obtaining health and dental care for all who need it.There is hope if only you can access the miracle workers.

1. Great letter
So good to hear that you are doing well too.

It's nice to be able to write a letter of thanks and recognition to those who have helped. It should help to get across the point that we all need good health care, it is a right not a privilege to be able to live a decent healthy life. Hopefully the more people hear it the more they will realize that Americans need to get louder in their calls for single payer and plans that let you live if you have the money or the job with the right health care plan.
