Rape charges against Wikileaks Founder DROPPED!
STOCKHOLM — Swedish prosecutors have withdrawn an arrest warrant for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, saying the rape suspicions against him are unfounded.

In a brief statement Saturday, chief prosecutor Eva Finne says: "I don't think there is reason to suspect that he has committed rape."

1. Swedes don't want to be CIA stooges
Remember they conducted surveillance on CIA 'terror flights'.

4. A ploy to get Assange in custody for the CIA?
This is the first I've heard of supposed rape charges against Assange. (Am I that far behind on news..? :P )
He was wise to recognize what was going on.

Am wondering though...why would Sweden capitulate and work directly with the CIA in fabricating this lie to create the trap?

I used to think Bizarro World was only in DC Comic books. Now not so true since the start of the 21st C. when the first stop was to let all the Bozos and evildoers off the bus to be let loose on the world.

8. Wouldn't be prudent.
Can't kill the guy, then destroy his reputation.

Certainly glad justice still exists in Sweden.

9. Unfortunately the damage is done. Many people will always believe the rape charges now.
Unless the person who made false charges is prosecuted successfully, and even then, some will still doubt.

11. He has the truth on his side, they have lies and murderous intentions
and sadly those kind of 'qualities' usually win out in the end.

12. So they failed to "Scott Ritter" him!...
Just like the failed in silencing Scott Ritter too.

Come on! These are common tricks to go after people you don't like. People are seeing through this crap!

13. If they keep on spreading lies like this one, they'll begin to lose
credibility even with the no-so-smart Republicans.
