CNN’s Crowley blames Obama for persistence of Muslim myth
Edited on Sat Aug-21-10 01:34 PM by democracy1st
CNN’s Candy Crowley told Politico’s John Harris that President Obama is to blame for the persistent myth that he is a Muslim.

Candy Crowley, host of CNN’s “State of the Union,” thought the myth persisted because of “the lack of any kind of evidence to the contrary,” noting that President George W. Bush was often seen going to church while Obama goes less often.

Right-wing media just can't quit attacking Obama's faith

Following polls showing that an increasing number of Americans wrongly believe President Obama is a Muslim, right-wing media figures have used the opportunity to continue to sow doubts about Obama's religious convictions.

Where's all the so called preachers at! Just sitting back allowing their faith to be pimped by the rightwing.

Hannity, guests suggest it's Obama's "actions" that have "skewed perception of the religion he practices"

3. I hate Candy Crowley. Seems as if she is showing a personal bias
because how else can you explain such a bizarre leap of logic?

Not attending church = Proof that Obama is Muslim?

I must be a Muslim as well because I haven't gone to church in about 20 years.

All based on lies but John Kerry who had 3 Purple Hearts, 1 Bronze Star, and a Sliver Star was labeled a coward .......
the truth means nothing to these people.

5. I've always thought the traditional idea of black leaders hurt him on this front
If he were white, it wouldn't be something that is questioned. However, seemingly every African American leader starting with MLK has come from a religious background and the fact that Obama doesn't fit that stereotype surprises some.

7. Aghh. It's *CNN and company* that's perpetuating the myth.
About all I watch on CNN these days is Fareed Zakaria's show on Sundays.

And there you have it, she is. On the other hand, CNN is Fox "News" junior.

14. I guess Candy's own reports during the Rev Wright fiasco were imaginary.
You'd think being forced to answer for the comments of your Christian pastor would imply you actually shared that faith.

BP Oil Spill = Obama's problem

Breitbart/Fox lies on Sherrod became a Race probem for Obama

Now it will be interesting to see if one right wing Pastor comes out and calls BS on this whole thing?
