3. Why is this still the constant news on every TV news program?

Why is it still being debated and discussed? The story should have just died away once it was locally determined that all zoning requirements, etc. had been met. The folks who are going to build this center have every constitutional and local right to do so...and they will do it! So, why are the news shows covering it 24/7? If there is any debate left to be had, it is if we should shred the constitution and start over with a new one that does not allow for religious freedom....or should we keep what we have and continue to allow religious freedom. That, one would hope, would be a short debate....and then we could get to covering the real news out there.

It IS important and DOES deserve wide coverage. The coverage given might be abysmally poor, in terms of content, but better than being under the rug
