Nailing Republicans and Selling the Democratic Agenda
Republicans are hypocrites; they are masters of the big lie. Republicans make like they’re the party of the people while in truth they cater to business interests with little concern for the public good. Democrats on the other hand fight for the democratic vision of government of the people, by the people, and for the people. It is we who can justly wrap ourselves in the flag. Dems though often aren’t very good at communicating, marketing, their policies in a way that the average voter gets. But there is a way … in my YouTube video and in my book, We Still Hold These Truths, endorsed by James Fallows and John Podesta, you’ll find an overarching principle that drives the Democratic agenda and explains it to the American people in a way they will get.

2. There's a lot at stake
Hard to be low stress when there is so much at stake. These crazies on the right cannot win ,,, it would be a disaster worse the W.

4. Don't be on the defensive
Thanks. Democrats are so used to being on the defensive from Republican attacks. We need to turn the tables and define the Republicans, label them as the hypocrites that they are, and wrap the flag around us making the people understand how our positions are truest to America's core founding beliefs. It is the Dems who are standing up for what makes America great, not the Republicans.

11. Just responded to this DU guy who thinks the Dems don't give a crap
Someone just said I was naive and that Dems don't give a crap about average people and are beholden to big business. He talked like there was no difference between the two parties. I responded that while they certainly are influenced more than I would like by big business and money, bottom line, they do care about the welfare of the average person and things like the Health Reform Bill are ample evidence of that. They aren't perfect in my book by any means, but there's something there to work with.

12. That pretty much sums up my feelings....
...I'm disappointed that they passed a healthcare bill without single-payer - even without a public option - despite not a single Republican vote, and made other compromises for nothing as well. Still, they're worlds better than the Republicans.

6. Your stuff is good
Thanks. I just went to your blog and was impressed. Not only do you put something up everyday, but you have something to say. I know I should blog and do Facebook to promote my book and the video, but I just can't get into it. Kind of an old-fashiioned guy.
