You know what gets me about the Convention Center?

THERE COULD HAVE BEEN RELIEF.

Choppers, as well as army trucks... I remember having a discussion with some of the folks who should have known better. I was told, you would not deny or refuse Army orders.

I have refused army orders, in the middle of a disaster to get relief to people...

Realize a lot of these images I did not see... I was spending my hours telling people HOW to get people in, how to get help, it trickled in... but damn it... if State allowed that help in and did not fight us every step of the way... teams and equipment that did not, in a few cases, speak English, were ready to go. They were on ready five all over North America and later Europe... they were... but we had to fight them! We had to fight them for seven long days!

George Bush... Brownie, Chenney, all of you can burn in hell for all I care...

Oh and a lot of the gear we should have had here in the states in pre deployment zones existed only in paper...

We failed NOLA and the Gulf Coast, that's the truth.
