She called to ask if I'd be willing to volunteer and I said yes. . . she first started to say, "Oh that's... " then "What? You will? I mean, oh, that's great!"

I started laughing, "Don't get many yeses, do ya?" She laughed and said, no, that I was the first one she'd gotten.

Then she asked if I was supporting Russ Feingold and and Barrett (for governor).

She's going to call after Labor Day (after school gets started) to schedule some things.
