MEDIA BIAS---Do I Have It Right??? Please Give Me Your Opinion
I've just redesigned and expanded my news portal, Newsprism.com, which divides around 400 news sites, columnists, bloggers and the like into the Blue/liberal and the Red/conservative. I'd appreciate your input, especially if you think I have it wrong, or you know of a deserving site, columnist, or blog.

DU is listed as a leftist blog; while obviously liberal, it doesn't fit neatly under any single category/heading. Is it fair/accurate to call it a "blog"?

If you blog or write a column, or have your own news site, I'd be happy to check it out and consider it for inclusion.

And if you think I'm full of $#!+, don't be shy---but do let me know HOW I'm full of $#!+, if you'd be so kind!

3. What's your point? That asking for feedback isn't GENERAL DISCUSSION?

4. You asked about DU's category:
"Is it fair/accurate to call it a "blog"?"

The responder stated that DU is a discussion forum. Which it is. DU is not a blog.

Then you called the responder snotty.

Weird.

2. I would disagree with your placement of several of them...
Time and Newsweek are hardly liberal publications, and to place them in a way that makes them look like they are as far to the left as the Washington Times and Wall Street Journal are to the right seems absurd. In addition Politico and Reason are hardly centrist publications, in fact Reason is an explicitly Libertarian publication that favors doing away with nearly all environmental laws and corporate regulations. I can't say I agree with your analysis of who is on the left and center, although you did a better job of pointing out the right-wing publications.

5. Thanks
I bookmarked your site. I wasn't aware of some of the sites/people previously. So I have some new places to explore...thanks.

I pretty much agree with your breakout. I don't agree with everything...but then nobody ever agrees with someone else a 100%. And mostly it is withe the magnitude of something being left/right. But I also recognize the need for symmetry in the visual design of the page.

Overall I say good job.
