1. That was an awfully monochromatic set of images..
All white, I looked fairly closely and didn't see a single non-Caucasian face.

28. I got your point except for your "GREAT pictures of the 'thousands'!"
implied that the pictures were from today's uber-rally. I thought that was what I was getting until I read the captions of the photos.

no need for our side to stoop to Faux Nooze's level with misleading comments.

back-atcha with your stick

7. from what I've read here, those people who spent the night there should be PISSED
"Pissed" being their default mood, but still.

I suppose it might have been somewhat fun for them to hang out with all the other like-minded haters--like Woodstock, only with bitterness and fear--but would it have been worth sleeping there?

13. Are we supposed to be impressed at the turnout today?
More people turned out to protest lack of immigration reform last summer than showed up today and the rally got ZERO coverage.

The point was the headline, how hard is it to understand that?

17. Not impressed. Concerned. Concerned that thay can generate such an
audience in the first place while our message languishes, never even getting off the ground, much less climging the steps of a Washington memorial.

25. It's good news
we want the tea party to be somewhat strong to divide the republican party. Let them get out there and run third party candidates and scare off moderates by winning primaries.

14. That was with 8 degree wind chill, BTW. It took me 14 minutes to get movement back.
Easy to get 100,000 on an 80+ degree day to an event that's been publicized for months on the MSM.

Not really sure what Beck's message was. Lots of 'baggers left a little disappointed that no Red Meat was thrown. Think Beckistan is trying to put a smiley face on the Tea Klux Klan to gain sponsorship back? I think their movement will be kind of splintered after today's event.

16. Because they are getting their message out while our message languishes.
I realize we are challenged by the lack of media coverage. But, by God, we need to take our message to the fucking cameras. If they won't come to us, we need to invade the studios of the major networks. How is a couple security guards going to stop several thousand of us from accessing the studios of the Fox News Party?

WE NEED TO BECOME THE STORY!

24. Just LOOK At All Those Poor, Oppressed White People!
My heart goes out to them. It really does. They're clearly struggling to make it in America and need a leader like Glenn Beck to lead them out of the darkness and into the light. How can I tell? Why, just the fact that they've been able to take time off work to make it to this little rally, some of them traveling great distances (which means even more time off of work), and the disposable income to do it (traveling requires expenses for food, gas, hotel rooms, amenities, etc.), and were able to somehow scrape together their pennies to pay for it, all to make their voices heard by the powers that be who have been ignoring them for oh so long. Oh, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free! It REALLY brings a tear to my eye.

Especially, the areas that look like small groups of solid red or blue.

31. good way to pad the numbers.
a chair takes up about 4 times the space a person standing does, so an empty chair plus one standing teabagger equals five rally attendees to the aerial camera.

i bet each freeper brought at least two chairs.

I feel like I'm watching someone in an open field with absolutely NOTHING around for 20 miles and they are shouting "I want one of those" "I want one of those"

They were all spread out to make it look like there were more of them than there were. I noticed that on CNN.
