Interesting KO tidbit (nothing to do with last PM show):
I've always felt that he was actively synthesizing the styles of Edward R. Murrow and the great monologuist Jean Shepherd. Interestingly, he is now utilizing the Bahn Frei theme for the Oddball segment which Shep used to open and close his show for decades.

Even now, I have a collection of 1500 of Shep's WOR radio shows and no matter how many times you listen to them, they can still impart new insights and humor. A true genius.

KO ain't so bad himself.

and buy 750 shows for 20 bucks. put them on an mp3 recorder and listen to your heart's content!!!
