I'm sorry, but Cuomo up by 6% and Gillibrand 1% in recent polls just doesn't pass the common sense test...You can't tell me that one of the bluest states in the country is going to elect someone like Paladino and Gillibrand's completely unknown challenger...

1. True -- but keep in mind that New York CITY and New York STATE

are two completely different animals.

2. How red is upstate New York?

At least the 5 boroughs are deep blue, :woohoo:

3. SI is actually a bit red-tinged. LI and Westchester are bluish purple.

Buffalo is reddish purple. Rochester is blue. The rest of the state is redder.

Bit I still doubt Paladino can stop being too nuts for most New Yorkers.
