Oregon's gubernatorial candidates are debating tonight. Live stream link from KGW.

Since Oregon is about 10% of California's population, and about 1% of the nation's population, few will notice. But in case you're interested in Oregon politics, this will be interesting.

Former two-term Governor John Kitzhaber, a popular progressive guy who has been out of office since 2002, is running against a former basketball pro, Chris Dudley, a political neophyte whose major credentials seem to be an Ivy League education, having been a former Portland Trail Blazer, and the fact that he's about 7' tall.

This might be a close election.
