DC Rally Saturday

Is there any way to know if this rally will be well attended? My husband and I are deciding whether or not to go . . . money's tight. We're almost definitely attending the one on Oct 30th.

Driving with a friend from the Detroit area. It's about a 9-hour drive. We'll arrive tomorrow night, stay in Rockville, MD and take the Metro in Sat. a.m.

Where do you live? Are you close enough to drive?

7. I would have been happy to go but had no luck finding any

bus anywhere near me. I thought my union would send buses but when checking the USW site all they did was give a link to the site One Nation which seems to be totally inept.

6. My daughter and I are going.

We're driving from Reading, PA. Taking the Red line in from Glenmont Station in MD. My daughter is 11, and she is very excited to be going to DC for the 1st time. We plan on being on the mall by 7 - 7:30 am. That should give us time to look around and possibly take in a visit to one of the Smithsonian Museums. I need to check for times on that, though.
