9. I missed the "Catgut Trio" concert.
I love chamber music, too. I did not know about the concert until I saw the marquee at about 9 pm Tuesday night. Nor did I know about the bar above the Tower. Bend: so many bars, so little time!

8. That is Lowullo Butte in the foreground.
Lowullo Butte is on the northeast flank of the Newberry Volcano. Lowullo's lonesome pines fit perfectly into the notch between South Sister and Broken Top.
