2. No, but I keep asking them to resign or at least convert to the Light.
So far they ignore those requests, too. I'm just happy when they don't eat children for lunch. You live in Texas, you have some low expectations about statewide officials.

Any of you folk living where your Senators don't openly laugh when you suggest something, take advantage of it!

3. Teabaggers go after Dem representatives
Why shouldn't we go after Repukes? They need to hear this stuff too. They may not listen, but I bet they can count.

4. Sure they can count. That's why they laugh at me.
They probably have the Austin area code blocked by now. Everywhere else in Texas they don't get people like me calling.

6. They might if the word about Social Security cuts got out--
--to Republican seniors. Recall that even hand-selected audiences of Shrubbie's favorite blue-haired cultural warriors wouldn't go for the 2005 privatization attempt.

7. Whatever is done...
Will likely be couched under the banner of "strengthening social security".
Proponents will say that "these tweeks will strenghten social security and make
it solvent until 20xx" and "ensure that Social Security is solvent and continues
to be there for all Americans in the years to come".
Hey it happened before...

5. Thanks for posting!
I will do so immediately. All I get right now from my Senator (McCaskill) is requests to sign petitions to eliminate secret holds and that we should push to investigate lost funds in Afghanistan (which I figure as a Senator, she can probably do).

I will do this right away and let her answer to my request.

9. One down, one to go... Schumer better get his effing pen out.
After reading Sanders letter, apoplexy has set in wondering why any Democrat would not have already come RUNNING to sign this?!#@$

Thanks, eridani

Cheers,
Agony
