Why does MSNBC keep updating us on the latest Jersey Shore episode?
I hate to admit this, but I actually watch Jersey Shore and I don't appreciate the spoilers before I've had a chance to watch. Secondly, why is a news organization updating us on sleezy reality shows in the first place?

5. Because a sufficiently large chunk of its desired demographic watch Jersey Shore...
and they are a desired audience with the right consumer patterns that will attract a wider base of advertisers and lead to greater profits for MSNBC.
