3. Don't be so sure.
Even those who have supported Whitman don't like her that much. Many will use this as an excuse to jump ship.

4. Really? You think Californians will not see
through the hypocrisy?

Amazing.

You know she's in trouble when even Jeff and Jerr are all but friendly... JESUS AGE there are days.

8. agreed.
Plus, Gloria is a talented attorney and news hound. She WILL keep the story up in lights, long enough for Meg to feel very wary.

Nutmeg Witless may have fought boardroom battles, but she never ever fought a no holds political cat fight. that lack of experience will show up rather soon.

7. I bet a whole lot...
The Latino community will not look fondly upon this horrific transgression.

16. I agree with you (although I hope we are wrong)...
because I think they will vote for anyone with an "R" next to their name. They just want to regain power regardless of which twit is running. I don't think this scandal will sway them much.

17. It won't sway the hardcore. But it might sway enough independents.

5. I'll take a guess that this is worth 2-3 points for Brown
But with the caveat that it may not last until Novemeber; who knows if it does not have legs or the media just decides to drop it, or Allred's case falls apart.

14. I think Brown got a two point bounce from Tuesday's debate, and after this debacle...
He'll be be in the double-digit realm.

I believe Whitman will be in damage control mode until the election. Come on Meg, tell us again how Jerry hatched this diabolical plan.

Tomorrow's debate in Fresno (looks like Detroit), California, will be the deal breaker.

6. If NutMeg Whitless were smart enough to think on her feet...
She could have used this situation to her advantage and it would have solidified her vote from the California Latino community. And it would be no skin off her fat cat ass either. She has the means and resources to turn this around... but it's far too late now. She's sinking in her self-made hypocrisy.

All she had to do was, instead of firing this woman and getting in her face with the "I don't know you and you don't know me" bullshit (and I totally believe this happened), she should have hired an immigration lawyer and get legal immigration status for this "member of the family" of over 9 years. She would have been St. Margaret.

Ridiculous. NutMeg is a goddamn idiot. She's not even good at being a shifty politician for crying out loud!

9. didn't you know? One must keep the hired help
in their place.

NEVER treat them like humans. They may get ideas, or something.

10. Dammit... I forgot we were talking about a brown person...
It does indeed make my comment moot, because Whitless and her ilk are apparently hardwired against any compassionate thought processes... even when they are really self-serving.

Karma has her way!

15. Indeed there are...
I may be blue eyed and blond haired with Celtic genes, but I grew up in El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Angeles de Porciúncula! I have a deep abiding love for my Latino neighbors, their culture, their food, their love of life... and I'm grateful to be here with them in the City of Angels.
