Not long ago one girl drove another to suicide. This type of thing isn't new at all, and it isn't just against gays. This type of intolerance and viciousness is used against anyone that seems a bit out of the mainstream, unpopular, or just not liked. Shaming is ancient uggly social ritual that goes back before law. Long before the internet bullying behavior, shaming, made life misearable for others, both as children and as adults.
