Were you to spend your fortune, not only could you get broke fast, but your prestige could tank as well. You could serve as rich hypocrite anchor to the GOP. Hated by all those you hoped to fleece. Shunned at the countryclub.

Yes, you, richboy. Think long and hard, afore you get the same scrutiny. And you not being hardened in politics specifically, WILL find you unfamiliar. At the very least.

So, at least for the near future, the rich buying us outright, has a balance.
