Meg Whitman answers that age old question, whatz the worst that can happen.
The recent idea that rich folk can buy offices, and lord their authority over all of us, has received a huge CAVEAT. Were you to spend your fortune, not only could you get broke fast, but your prestige could tank as well. You could serve as rich hypocrite anchor to the GOP. Hated by all those you hoped to fleece. Shunned at the countryclub.

Yes, you, richboy. Think long and hard, afore you get the same scrutiny. And you not being hardened in politics specifically, WILL find you unfamiliar. At the very least.

So, at least for the near future, the rich buying us outright, has a balance.

O Donnel serves to answer the question, what if I achieved all my dreams. Seldom have persons been so transparently out of their depth.

Teaparty candidates, and those they push, are cranks. One and all. By virtue of their always promoting the insanest common denominator.

I am starting to feel that the crazy will crescendo so harsh, that america will recoil. Just as No drama Obama stomped the fundamentals of the economy are sound gramps, so will the chicken little, jesus rode a dinosaur, inbreds ,promote our sane choice. If we work, we will succeed, to some preferable level. I wish I could help, but Meg Whitman is doing my work for me. We CAN limit our always expected losses, to some manageable level. And then stomp. With a solid mandate.

As for the future, that looks sunny, even sunnier.

1. Nice post, particularly the first part.
A little optimism is good.

I certainly hope that you are correct, and as I read the tea leaves I think that you probably are.

3. What if there was media that nailed these people before they ran for office.
Like a National Enquirer for the overpaid & elite of the business world.
