How would you promote the Stewart/Colbert rallies?
I'm thinking 'The biggest get out the vote Halloween party of all time'.

No?

1. Is it a GOTV rally or is it a "Both Sides Suck" rally? Based on what Jon has said lately, I'm

thinking it is more of a "Both Sides Suck" rally.

I don't know why people think it is going to help Democrats.

Jon has been full of false equivalencies and RW talking points lately - to the point of defending Teabaggers to Arianna and pushing the talking point that Obama has done nothing.

edit to add - Sorry to harsh your buzz on it. I really hope it is what you think it will be.

2. It's more 'crazy sucks.' Teabaggers are clearly the 'crazy.'
Whatever gets young Obama voters to the polls is a good thing and I know this will help.

3. Crazy sucks and both sides are crazy is what he pushes - or one side is crazy and one side is
useless.

I'm afraid people are seeing what they want to see instead of what Jon is actually saying. I hope I'm wrong. :) We will know for sure on 10/30.

4. Not sure where you are getting 'help Democrats' from my post.
Didn't say 'get out the vote for Democrats', just "get out the vote".

I'm not sure 'both parties suck', and nothing else, is going to a big motivator for people to travel to DC the day before Halloween.

6. I guess the question is GOTV for who then. Democratic leaning people seem to be more of his
audience.

5. He has also gone out of his way to point out the things

Obama has done...and so has Stephen...this is a GOTV and Halloween party since Colbert has asked people at his rally to wear costumes...I really think that would be fun...

On edit: I also think it's a show of force...Stewart and Colbert are both a bit of egotists and want to show up Beck ...and they smuggly know they will...
