1. I'd love to pick out a spot in a development that never gets built out..
Just me, a canal, a fishing pole, and a boat. *sigh*

5. Exactly my thought. Pic #15 looks promising.
One of the lots way to the south on that bit of water.

2. Do developers who conceive such tightly packed housing see the whole world being like that someday?
Sorry. We would die off like too many mice in a cage long before that happened.

3. A lot of the state looks just like that if you've ever flown over it
with the shoreline of nearly every body of water encrusted with houses. While it makes a lot of sense for old folks to live crammed together like that--little yard maintenance--it's still pretty grotesque.

No thanks.

19. heh...no kidding.
Take pics from Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston or Dallas suburbs, suburbs along the Snyder Freeway in Louisville, KY and you'll see the same things.

6. The DENSITY
of the population in Florida was unbearable. It was like NY except everyone had cars.

13. Like some developments around here in PA on what used to be farmland.
But these are more tightly packed. Ours our terribly constructed homes on tiny lots starting at a quarter million dollars. They are so poorly built, some will probably not last the length of the mortgage.

17. Never could understand the appeal of Florida. I would move to the great Northwest if I
could. British Columbia appeals to me. I would move to Alaska before I would move to Florida.
