1. Breakdown of Peace talks between Israel and Palestine
The breakdown of peace talks between Israel and Palestine is a large driver, I suspect. Another reason may be the conflict in Afghanistan, which is spreading into Pakistan. The USA attack from Afghan territory upon Pakistani soldiers based at the border made them mad.

3. The Afghani situation did cross my mind.
It's just since the early bush years, my trust in what the government says and what the press promotes has been shot. So I have to try and analyze things the best I can. I guess that is what has changed about me.

4. The Israel situation should cross your mind too
I am European, we have less problem criticizing Israel, and pointing out its actions cause a lot of terrorism. The renewal of settlement construction by the Netanyahu government is a serious attack against peace in the Middle East, and therefore it causes tension against Europe and other nations which support Israel. I don't think Israel deserves support anymore, it is clearly not interested in a peaceful arrangement of the conflict.
