This has to be Missouri.

"Don't Tread on Me"

I have seen this one several times lately. Must be the new battle cry.

"Live Free or Die"

This is OK I guess if you are living up in the mountains all by yourself. But not if you are in the city and driving on public roads, under public lights, calling on police or ambulance if you get into trouble.

And my personal favorite:

"Help me, Mr. Obama
They want me to work and stuff"

This must be a lucky person who still has a job. If he was out there trying to find a job when there just aren't any he probably wouldn't have this on his truck.

A friend of mine told me that there was one opening at a nursing home in our area (Kansas City) and 280 people applied. That is a job that almost no one wants.

3. Coffee is the only thing keeping
me going. When I saw prices had shot up I immediately went into mourning.

4. Everyday, I commute through a nice wooded community near my office.
The majority of houses there with political signs in the yard are promoting Democratic Congressman, Gerry Connolly. Over the weekend, someone put a yard sign with the "Don't Tread on Me" flag in their yard. Not thinking that the message got his point across completely, he added some paper handwritten signs. Sadly heavy rains destroyed his laughable political positions, rants, and misspellings.

5. I wonder when this fellow's life started going to shit
Because I'd bet two dollars he probably doesn't have to rub together that his personal fortunes took a turn for the worse some time between 2001 and 2007. But because his oppressors successfully convinced him that everything was the fault of the scary black man in the White House, he's made the current administration the repository of all his anger and frustration.

It would be instructive to ask him why his truck is so old and how well he was doing four years ago and why he didn't buy a new one during what had to have been the height of the economic good times. Maybe he'd do better if we shoveled some more money into the pockets of Dick Cheney?

6. I'm not sure those people really "think" about things at all.
I think its all just real general ideas and slogans that sound good to them.

If you really asked pointed questions they probably could not even answer.
