Now Comcast is poised to takeover MSNBC. Uh-oh. What will bbecome of Olberman, Maddow, et al? How do you like that media consolidation, Truthseekers? Tell me, how is this good for America?

The new Supreme Court meets today, with Elena Kagen�s first official week on the job. This event is responsible for giving Newt Gingrich and Glen Beck multiple and severe cases of �the willies� about the impending forced imposition of Sharia Law on the United States. The absurdity of it all is almost overwhelming.

The Supremes will take up a blockbuster case this week in Snyder v. Phelps, which is set to be argued on Wednesday over the possible �limits� of free speech. Specifically, if the psychopath Fred Phelps has the right of his equally-insane minions to scream vile, bigoted, anti-gay epithets and the funerals of slain US troops.

In this case before the Supremes, the fallen soldier, Matthew Snyder, was not gay. Phelps was generally protesting what he perceives to be the military�s tolerance of gays and lesbians and Snyder�s funeral in Westminster, Md., gave Phelps the chance to broadcast his message. Among the signs he brought were some that said, �Thank God for Dead Soldiers.�

Gotta love those Christian values! We will assume if the Supremes find in favor of Snyder, then Beck will whip out his white-board and make with the maniacal scribblings connecting Kagan and the �activists� on the Court to some ancient Islamic secret society that will strip Americans of all civil rights and will mandate death by stoning for minor traffic offenses.

Speaking of Skull and Bones, where were these Teabagger freaks when the Bush Crime Family was systematically destroying our Constitutional rights with Patriot Acts I and II and forcing American citizens into �First Amendment Zones?� Detaining college students whose only crime was asking for stamps without flags on them at their post office? Wiretapping our phones and monitoring our library records?

Freedom isn�t free in the USA, but it has nothing to do with Obama�s picks for the Supreme Court.
