I'm going to recycle my yard signs after the election
instead of just throwing them away. I plan on turning them into anti-war signs and keeping them on my front lawn until they fall apart. Not only will my freedom of speech be exercised, but it'll piss off my many rethug fundie neighbors. :hippie:

2. I always recycle my yard signs.
Some of the candidates run again. Also, the wire in the signs has to be purchased separately by many campaigns. The plastic or cardboard printed part of the sign is cheap compared to the wire. It is good to be able to reuse that.

3. Some of us would appreciate it if you would also turn your attention to some poverty issues, besides
just the war.

It would feel nice for us to be remembered too.

Think you could do that? I have some fine stats for you.

5. good idea -- I will
do that (though there are so many issues and I have so few signs!) And IMO, ending the war(s) would certainly help in the poverty area.

6. Thank you. As I said, I can send you info that needs some publicity.
EVERYONE concentrates on the war..... yet, there is little effort towards poverty, and the belief that ending the wars would automagically produce more $$$$ for poor people is far from reality at this point.

I will also remind you that so many here want ALL to get out and vote, yet do nothing to show poor people that there is any real concern for them. The results of that is obvious.

4. I've done that since the 2000 election.
My Dean sign lasted a heck of a long time. Had one ole R down the road ask me when I was going to take it down. I used to tell him "when hell freezes over." Guess what? He died before that sign came down.
