That's on a billboard here in town. Just so you all know, everything about these people is wired to come together in a common cause and fight. They fight about everything. They fight land development issues, they fight about immigration, and now they see the Obama Administration as an outside invader.

I know some of these people. Some are drunks, some are incompetent in their jobs, and some are just misguided. What overrides all those failings is that they know what to say and who to say it to and that means instant acceptance.

The only thing that could have stopped them was to use their own weapons against them: accountability. But because we gave the Bush Administration a pass, it sent a message that their methods were legitimized. Now it's going to be so much harder to fight against them.
