O'Donnell's not a witch, but her other qualities are even scarier

Has there ever been a time in Delaware political history that's been more embarrassing for the state?

We all take without thinking twice the "Dela-where" jokes and the obscure, tiny state comments. Delaware, Ohio? It's because that's all true and we know it.

Delaware finally made the national political big time when Joe Biden was named the vice presidential candidate to run with Barack Obama.

Well, Joe Biden never created the kind of international hysteria that Christine O'Donnell has, even with his telltale gaffes and verbal fumbles, which we here have been hearing for more than three decades.

This O'Donnell thing has taken political ridiculousness to a new high, or low, depending on your point of view.

In my view it's a low because it makes Delaware Republicans look like nincompoops for selecting an unemployed, inexperienced, former New Jerseyan as their nominee to run for the United States Senate. Mike Protack is more qualified, and that's coming from a longtime Protack basher -- me.

BTW that's pretty serious to be called less qualified than Mike Protack. He's another perinnial DE republican candidate who has no qualifications but keeps running for office. Honestly, she's nuttier than Protact and that's some pretty serious nutness!

He's either going to vote for Coons or write-in Castle.

Castle isn't running and every write-in vote for Castle will only help out O'Donnell. Her 35% vote is secure because we have that many rabid right-wing voters in the state. Castle voters came from moderate democrats and independents that supported him, which is why he lost the primaries (only republicans can vote). So we need all the votes we can get!

You can hardly blame Steele on this one. All the republican organizations (NRSC and RNC) supported Castle because they knew he was the only sure win in the state. The republicans have a monster with Sarah Palin and in a nutshell Palin has cost them the Senate Majority.

7. She won't talk to the News Journal. They are the ones that broke the story about her Taxes and...

.campaign fraud with her funds.

O'Donnell's campaign plan is this - she is going to talk as little as possible to any form of media in hopes she doesn't make any more stupid campaign goofs and pray that some very serious campaign gaffe comes out about Chris Coons.

But Coons is about as solid as they come. He's a good speaker, nice guy, did well in his County Commission position and has absolutely no skeletons in his closet (I'd hardly call that 'Beardest Marxist' a skeleton since it really was a satirical piece he wrote and O'Donnell supporters tried to make a mountain out of an ant hill).
