Sometimes NOT releasing poll numbers tells you more than reading poll numbers. Steve Southerland now has two internal polls showing him crushing Rep. Allen Boyd in Florida-02, and Boyd hasn't fired back with ANYTHING. That's not a good sign.

2. Well...

It beats bugging my wife with everything that pops in my head, I guess. Something tells me she's not going to want to talk about Florida's 2nd congressional district when she gets home. Plus, we get a good number of comments from conservatives, which is interesting. It's win/win.

3. Since I do not live in Fla, I really have no clue who is who.

It would be helpful if there were an identifying D and R after the respective names.
Many DU members do not live in the US, much less the SE Coast, much less Fla.

4. My fault...

New to the whole "posting" thing. Southerland is the Republican, Boyd the Democrat. I'll keep an eye on that from here on out.

Why is the Dem being so silent, do ya suppose?
And which race is it, btw?
Congress? House/Senate?

Tis all i can do to follow the Ala. folks fighting over the election.....

6. US Congress, District 2

Panhandle. He's being silent because, like the post points out, you release internals when they're good news, not when they're bad. My guess is that they've POSITIVELY polled the race already, but ended up finding themselves down significantly no matter how they worked out the numbers. Never a good sign when you just let yourself get portrayed as getting killed.

So are most FL Democrats.

7. Nice site. Lots of us in FL have got big decisions coming up right now.

And once we make them for sure, I guarantee you we won't tell our decision.

I will say this. Hubby's union asked for donations today to Crist. He sent them money.

Haven't heard from local Democrats at all....you can't get their emails and updates unless you go to almost every meeting. With hubby's illness and our granddaughter's death, we just could not manage that. So we are not considered important enough to get updates and such from the county Dems. And since I retired I don't get union mail from the teachers' unions.

Not even a request about the amendments, though I have researched them on my own.

Someday I firmly believe that FL Dems will rise up and really sound different than the Republicans....and that is when they will start to win.
