Congratulations Delaware, you're ahead of Mississippi and North Dakota
In the rank of states, districts and territories that have signed the pledge to make our society more bike-friendly.

You're just five pledges behind Wyoming and that would put you at # 47

2. I'd expect someone whose state isn't in the Top 20 to keep his fucking mouth shut

3. I'd be dead if I road a bike here. It that happened then I would not be able
to tell you to shut your piehole, since "someone else" is not here to.

At least you live in the middle of nowhere, Tennessee.

Please tell me you do not live near either Maury or Williamson County, TN.

8. Well, one thing's for sure
It'll get all kinds of better if everyone sits around bitching about how tough it is to bike in their little corner of the world. It wasn't all that long ago that Portland, with all its hills and rain and so forth was a horrible place to bike. But some people organized, worked together, challenged a bunch of assumptions that a lot of people didn't even know they were making, and started changing things.

It doesn't "just happen": the magical Bike Fairy doesn't descend from the sky, wave a wand and poof! bike lanes and accommodating drivers. The good news for places where it hasn't happened is that you have several examples all across the country to imitate, emulate, steal ideas from, or adapt to your own situation. The bad news is that it might just be up to you.
