1. The tea party, America? Seriously?
America must've lost its mind. I admit, I was one of the progressives that was apathetic in September. We survived 8 years of Bush and Cheney, hopefully we'll survive how ever many years of them, if that's America's choice I guess it should be respected. But why even do it?

It seems to me like people are just so mad they're going to cut their noses off just to spite their faces. I try to give the Republicans the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not so sure they deserve it. The democrats have accomplished SO MUCH in 2 years IN SPITE of most of the Republicans and pretty much all of the tea party. With the exception of repealing the USAPATRIOT act Obama has done everything he said he would do, so why would America want to louse that up?

The people are mad because of unemployment, but will the right help? Don't they pretty much advocate both fiscal anarchy and dictatorship where nothing is regulated and whoever has the most money should get whatever they want even to the detriment of consumers and poor people? Would they care at all about jobs being exported to China and India to save the CEOs some money?

Now we hear everyday about how extremely right-wing tea party supporters are going to win, but it makes no sense!

Eh, I just think it's a bad idea.
