When you run an ad that calls West Virginia voters 'hicks' you gotta' expect it'll backfire. And based on the reaction from these front pages, it has:

You only have to keep feeding them rope. Hopefully they'll use it before the election.

I'm sure they'll blame a low level staffer.

3. I saw that ad and I'm a little confused.
I didn't see any discoloration or marks on any of those actor's necks, so what's the deal with the hickys? Can someone explain this to me?

4. Acutally, it should have been written as "hick-y" or "hick-ish"
as in "resembling a country hick."

Not even Republicans are stupid enough to run an ad calling people they want to reach "hicks." To their credit, the GOP has fired the agency. (on edit: but only did so after the outrage)

That said, I'm loving the attention this is getting.
