A post from a person of "Faith" - and my response to him.

Believer said: "This forum is a great example of the fact the liberal left will argue any and every point made about Christianity no matter how wrong they are. It obviously proves their total lack of understanding of what freedoms of speech and religion we enjoy under our Constitution. There should be zero argument here, but the looneys just want to argue, name call and prove their stupidity! We have the right to judge so that we can determine who the best candidates are and we have the right to share the immoral actions of the democrats from the pulpit. Why don't you douchbags start your own church of idiots and you too can be tax exempt; in fact I bet you could even get government grants for the psychological help you need. "

My response:
When we use names like "hypocrite"? Or when you "Project" on others?
Don't you have any mirrors you can use? That beam in your eye has gotta hurt.

The 'you' he is talking about is me.
The thread fell off the bottom and was gone shortly afterwards. Otherwise I would have loved to have read his comeback. These guys can be so much fun sometimes.

1. They forget that freedom of speech is a two way street...
and that includes criticism of any ideology. I have yet to see something that religion has ever been right about.

2. There is no point in arguing with "faith". It is by definition immune to reason. n/t

5. I am referring specifically to religious faith, but I will answer your
question: no, I have no real faith in myself, beyond assuming I exist. Even then it's only an assumption. The word "faith" has a definition and I think my post wasn't far off. If I had faith in Munchkins, would you feel obligated to respect my wisdom? Honestly, now. What if I had faith that 2+2 = 5, and I tried to build my world, your world and my children's world around that fact. Would you be sympathetic?

That's all I'm saying, take it as you will.
