Maybe this has been discussed but how many of you think companies are going to pick up hiring if Republicans win control of the House and more control of the Senate?

I think the GOP will tout that they lowered the unemployment rate because they kept taxes low and all that bull.

Exactly what they are going to do. And if democrats win, we will have to fight for it. Quite frankly, I have had that said to me by a republican trying to get me to vote repub. He said but they will never allow the economy to return to normal until they get back in power. I told him that he would never allow his two year old to pitch a tantrum in the grocery store even though he still had to feed him. And I didn't intend on giving into a brat at this point in the game.

Maybe small businesses care that much about politics, but I doubt many large companies do business that way. Most of the executives I have known care only about tax breaks, their own income, and their balance sheet.
