The Big Job Swap
From an outside poll asking:

"Whose jobs can we switch to make the world a better place?"

Snip:

Crackerjack reporter Bob Woodward sent tremors through the blogosphere when he floated the idea on CNN that, in 2012, Obama might swap Joe Biden for Hillary Clinton, giving Biden Clinton's Secretary of State slot. The idea, Woodward said, is "on the table." Everyone in the Obama administration denied it (though how can anyone hear Joe Biden's denials when he's always got his foot in his mouth?)

Still, it's an interesting thought...

If you could control a grown-up game of musical chairs, who's job would you swap with whom?

Original poll at: http://www.pledge-drive.com/lesterandcharliesurvey.html

I was particularly fond of the idea to swap Clarence Thomas with Larry Flynt.

1. Having surfed past Fox News recently ...
I'd swap Glenn Beck with a street mime.

2. HA!
If we're talking media, then I could also see swapping Larry King and Rodney King.

3. LOL! Your poll has some inspired choices
Off the top of my head, I'd switch Sarah Palin for Lizz Winstead. Lizz would be hilarious taking over Palin's appearances, and Palin would sink like a stone as a comic. It's not that she can't be funny--she can. She's just not funny enough, and her funniest stuff is unintentional. :)

:hi:

4. Now that's inspired...
... Can always could on you. Sarah/Lizz swap makes perfect sense and would be great for the country on many levels!

I'm trying to think of someone to swap out with John Boehner, and other than "anyone with a pulse" I can only think of "Agent Orange" ... not really a person.

8. LOL! That's pretty much perfect!
Better then the Sham-Wow spokesperson, who I was beginning to think might be a fit.

Now I'm stuck on a job swap for Phyllis Shaffley...

13. I'll bookmark, but disagree ...
I have to say I'm going with Eleanor Clift's points against it (not that she's a psychic or anything):

(a) Hillary doesn't want that position in case she runs again for the White House, as it will put her too close to any Obama policies that she wants to distance herself from;

(b) Joe Biden is doing a good job of being Joe Biden.

11. Swap some medical insurance company employees with kids
in India. Why can't we outsource medical insurance if it gets me cheaper coverage? Just kidding but it would serve them right.

15. It really would serve them right.
But probably make a bigger mess of things.

Here's a somewhat old and politically incorrect video that you might enjoy:

(about getting back outsourced jobs)
