George Michael released from jail after 4 weeks

George Michael has regained his freedom.

The wayward singer was released from jail Monday after serving almost four weeks for driving under the influence of drugs.

Michael thanked those who had supported him while he was jailed and said outside his north London home: "I just want to start again."

The former Wham! singer received an eight-week sentence on Sept. 14 for crashing his car into a London photo shop in July while high on prescription drugs and marijuana.

2. I don't know his whole life story

but it's hard to understand how a guy who really could be an Elton John for his generation (and yes Elton isn't squeaky clean either but goodness he's way better than Michael) has turned into such a miserable laughing stock.

The guy was talented and had the world at his feet, even after he revealed he was gay. He should be putting out a minor hit ever few years, guest-hosting a show on MTV or VH1, maybe a cameo here or there on TV, and living large.

10. I saw him perform at the MGM in Vegas a couple of years ago..

He still put on a good show..sexy moves..spoke about some of the things he was going through..talked about his boyfriend..he definitley still had it..

9. I used to snicker when my homophobic boss swooned over him.

She was always talking about how hot he was and how she wanted to shag him.

This was before he came out, but I knew he was gay even back then, gaydar.

Still, it was fun to snicker at her. One day she asked why I always snickered at her and I point blank told her that for someone who claimed to hate gay people so much, she sure was fawning over one. She told me I was flat out lying and just trying to push my gay agenda on her.

So, there you have it, the fact that George Michael is gay is just part of my gay agenda.

Hold the applause, please...

...but please don't hold back on the laughter. That's one of my favorite stories.
