The ASS-LICK Heard Around The World: Fiorina: PALIN Is QUALIFIED To Be President

(CNN) – Carly Fiorina, the Republican Senate candidate in California gifted Sarah Palin a high compliment on Monday.

"I certainly think she's qualified to be president of the United States," Fiorina said in an interview on CNN's The Situation Room.

But when the former Alaska governor, who endorsed Fiorina in the primary race, visits California Saturday with Michael Steele, Fiorina won't be in attendance. Instead, she said, she will be campaigning with Republican Sen. John McCain at an event for veterans.

"Sarah Palin is here to endorse her book I believe and to raise money," Fiorina told CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer. "I am here running for office so we're all busy."

Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett Packard, wouldn't say if she considers herself a member of the Tea Party movement.
"I see myself as a candidate running for public office for the very first time," Fiorina said. "I see myself as serving the voters of California."

Fiorina is in a tough race against three-term incumbent Senator Barbara Boxer. In the latest CNN/Time/Opinion Research Poll of likely voters, 52 percent of respondents said they would back Boxer and 43 percent said they would back Fiorina. The survey had a sampling error of 2.5 percentage points.

FLASHBACK:

WARREN, Ohio (CNN) – Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO turned John McCain Victory chair, said Tuesday that Sarah Palin isn’t qualified to run her old company.

Appearing on a KTRS Radio show in St. Louis, Fiorina was asked by the host, “Do you think she has the experience to run a major company like Hewlett Packard?”

“No, I don’t,” Fiorina answered.
“But that’s not what she’s running for. Running a corporation is a different set of things."

"I would just remind you that it is Barack Obama who is running for president," she continued. "John McCain who is running for president.” ...

1. I thought I heard a slurp in the distance when I was outside tonight
She's probably checking her email every 15 minutes or so, in anticipation of a nice Facebook post.

2. It's not even that MUCH of an ass-lick
It's a devastating statement when your own supporters feel obligated to deny that you're incompetent.

That is humorous. Of coarse it requires corrections for distortions in news stories.

7. Then that makes me qualified as well.
Because even though I don't have the secondary education that Wasilla hillbilly does (which is minimal anyway), I am better traveled, better read, more eloquent and I have a better command of the English language. I've visited more countries than Alaska has counties (And lived in more than she has visited) and I can find Afghanistan on a map (and most other countries you might suggest) not to mention that I can say "shucks" just as wholeheartedly as she can.

Anyone that actually thinks Sarah Palin is qualified to be the President of the United States of America and should be given full authority over the firepower that is the US Military needs to have their head examined. Anyone who holds that opinion and currently holds an elected position in the Federal Government should be removed from office.

10. Qualified to be President?
She couldn't even complete one full term as governor of America's 4th lowest populated state.

22. But she's still qualified to be president. She's over 35 and born in the US therefore qualified.

23. She meets the Constitutional requirements,

meaning that she's qualified to run for the office, but that doesn't mean she's actually qualified to hold the office, considering that she's a textbook example of the Peter Principle.

17. I've had a theory that Republicans like strong figureheads...
who make the decisions they are told to. Bush II had his cabal of directors and Reagan his handlers. Both were viewed by their constituents as strong leaders, but both were asked to be given the choices and made the choice they were given in most cases.

Palin is similar to Bush because she projects this strength but has just enough wit to make the decisions she is given.

Democrats, historically, tend to like intellect. Obama is brilliant, so was Clinton, and even Carter. In personality, they were very different from the type of people elected by Republicans.

And keep repeating this gem from the Queen of Outsourcing until your friends, neighbors and co-workers understand the truth about this loser.
