Update from Kentucky

Hey, gang! Just a few words from a volunteer here in Lexington.

In short, we're feeling good. The latest polls show Jack Conway on the heels of Rand Paul, some as close as 2 points. It's important not to become too overconfident, but we feel such momentum here.

We had a great rally with Bill Clinton at the University of Kentucky. It was INSANE how many volunteers we signed up.

Then Jack had a terrific performance at the debate in Northern Kentucky this evening. With topics ranging from Medicare to Afghanistan to the Covington-Cincinnati airport, Conway spoke actual specifics and seemed much more down to earth than Rand Paul. Even the comments on the local paper's website are slowly becoming proportionately more pro-Conway.

This senate race will be a squeaker, but so was the primary. Jack's a good closer.

Three weeks left. This senate race in Kentucky is one we CAN win. Jack has called for small business tax credits, closing corporate tax loopholes, repealing Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and the right to unionization among other strong stances. He is young and a good speaker, and his election would bode well for our party and our cause.

And we have the potential to elect someone like this in KENTUCKY of all places.

So I need any of you with Kentucky friends and relatives to call them and urge them to get out the vote for Conway. If you have any cash to spare, JackConway.org is your place to go!

It's going to be a tough, hard, long three weeks, but if we pick this one off in Kentucky, imagine the shock to the media narrative.

8. This is the Senate Race That I Want to Win the Most

KY is the state of my birth and Conway beating Rand Paul would be a huge defeat for the Teabaggers and the idiots that call themselves the news media.
