Can Washington Outsiders Survive Washington?

I watched a little of MSNBC's 3:00 P.M. et news coverage. During that time there was a segment that looked into the issue of political outsiders becoming political insiders. One of the questions during that segment was whether Washington outisiders could survive Washington once elected. I thought that question needed to be changed to something like do Washington outsiders really want to survive Washington or are people claiming to be Washington outsiders really Washington outsiders.

There needs to be an examination of whether some people are claiming to be Washington outsiders in order to get elected. The question should be asked are some people claiming to be Washington outsiders in that they either know or believe that claiming to be a Washington outsider will give them more votes.
