Mexican Lake Shooting - Tiffany Hartley - media sensationalism and why
do people develop and express opinions about something that they have ZERO knowledge or information about?

It is incredible that people have this mass media megaphone where they can express a public opinion on matters that they could have no knowledge upon and with which to base an opinion. I watched the NBC Today show the other day where the overpaid media hack Meredith Viera continually made subtle inferences to the Tiffany Hartley and wife of the victim that she might be involved.

I thought to myself at the time what was it that gave this witch the right on the national entertainment media to discredit and suggest that the wife might be guilty when the Sheriff himself said he was convinced the crime occurred as stated and that he had a witness to the event that probably was worried about his own life. The entertainment media deserve to have a huge gag placed in their over wide mouth because their reckless statements whether it be on this issue or many other examples, hinder not help society. We don't need speculation from the uninformed. What we do need is an interactive TV where viewers can opt in real time to send a message demanding that her and others just report facts instead of personal speculation.

When it comes to Mexican drugs, why haven't we clamped down and joined forces with the Mexican government to declare war on the issue, close the border and put the druggies out of business? The only answer is that there are powerful people inside the US and Mexican government and elsewhere that are profiting.

1. I agree with about half of what you say
the other half needs a little work.

You have a handle on the problem.

The solution, not so much.
