Anyone see Jon Stewart destroy Eric Cantor?
Edited on Tue Oct-12-10 10:36 PM by dennis4868
Cantor looked like a deer caught in the headlights....it's like he was thinking "what the he'll was I thinking by coming on this show."

4. Why did Jon concede that it is a given
that the Repukes are going to take over the House? Are we really in that bad a shape? I thought the gaps were closing.

5. I think he did that to set Cantor up for the kill....
Like a good prosecutor....after he said that he then went on to destroy Cantor and his party that they cannot be trusted when they say they are the party of fiscal responsibility....Stewart even said that there god Ronald Reagan raised taxes and expanded government more than any other president.

11. I think Jon Stewart can sometimes be our own worst enemy with his defeatism and lack of
pragmatism. Just my opinion!

16. I think he did that so that he could focus the time together on what the Republicans would
do after the elections and not on the election.

If you think about it what JS was doing was trying to energize Democrats.

7. Cantor is a Santorum wannabe wimp.
Why bother having Cantor on the show? That's just having a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
