I'm EXTRA proud of the USA today...
Edited on Wed Oct-13-10 09:36 AM by GSLevel9
The Chilean rescue operation reminds us all of the good that we, as a nation can do for others.

The drilling operation was aided by several USA companies and the drilling equipment was all custom made in Pa and the communication gear made in Maryland.

A good time to say "USA, USA, USA!"

An example of what the USA does best.

1. This day belongs to humanity. I'll cheerlead for all involved, thank you.
That includes the efforts of US companies and workers to free them, but I goes to all who support them as well.

2. I understand....
I've just become SOOOOOO cynical of the American spirit... the "SOUL" of the "American".

We often fixate on the "BAD" that is done... and we've seen way too much "HUMAN BAD" this decade.

An example of what "GOOD" we're capable of...

This is not a time to claim "credit"--especially when the rescue op was an international enterprise.

4. I am proud of our part!
This rescue operation has been a cumulative effort of many. But there is nothing wrong with being PROUD of our part in all of this.

USA! USA! USA!

5. It's a wonderful moment seeing the miners brought out.
Truly an effort by many and appreciated by all.

6. Just like you libruls to applaud socialism!
All this "cooperation" and "team effort"! Totally antithetical to the way things should be. Those miners got themselves stuck, they should get themselves out. Think of all the productive, low-wage work all those people "rescuing" them could have been doing so as to make some wealthy person a little wealthier. And all you libruls can think about is those "poor miners trapped for 10 weeks." What about the mine owner? He's lost a lot of valuable man hours while those 31 men lollygagged around for 70 days.

And don't get me started on the librul media. All those hundreds of reporters and camera crews fixated on a bunch of foreigners when there could be a cute blonde girl missing somewhere. And I don't know anything about it, because of this socialist diversion. I'll bet it was a secret plot hatched up by Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama to distract the American public from their communist Islamic takeover of the United States.
