The arrogance and blatant racism of the rednecks around here really pisses me off.

Anti-Obama billboard raises eyebrows
Caricatures are racist and homophobic, local Dems say
By Charles Ashby
Tuesday, October 12, 2010

A Grand Junction billboard depicting President Barack Obama as a terrorist, a gangster, a Mexican bandit and a gay man is getting national attention.

The billboard, erected along the I-70 Business Loop between 28 1/2 and 29 roads sometime Monday, depicts the four “Obamas” sitting around a table with playing cards showing only sixes bunched in groups of three.

Also on the table is a copy of the Declaration of Independence, a liberty bell, a toy soldier and a statue of Justice holding a balance.

Beneath the Obama caricatures are numerous rats, some of which are labeled as the IRS, trial lawyers, the EPA and the Fed. Sitting above all that is a line, “Vote DemocRAT. Join the game,” which is positioned between two vultures, one of which is labeled the U.N. and the other with the name Soros, a reference to George Soros, a major national Democratic financial supporter.

1. There'll soon be copies of it all over the country if it's somebody like Rove behind it.

Adding insult to injury, I'm living so far out that Scottsdale is the closest city so when we "go into town" that's where we end up.

Ugh.:(

3. *sigh*....
I really don't know what to say. Every time I think they've reached the bottom of the barrel, they prove me wrong. WTF?!?!?!? Maybe I missed it, but I don't remember billboards that were anywhere near as disrespectful to Bush or any other president for that matter.

I've seen pictures of billboards depicting Obama as Hitler (not signs at a rally a billboard)*, a terrorist, ones that encourage a "revolution", etc..

*for those conservaturds that lurk and suck at reading comprehension.

4. Eight years of * and we sat by and gave him the respect of office.
Now we have to put up with this. It is a disgrace. Why oh why did we sit tight and not throw shoes. Because we would have been arrested. We really have lost it all. So many disgusting Americans, so much corporate influence. These people who would support a billboard such as this, make me sick!

15. We had peace vigils twice a week for over two years.
I will speak for myself and my co-peacenics. With our own secret service folks assigned to us we did not use this type of tactic. With the sheriffs department following us around we did not use words like Nazi, cocaine addict and the like.We had plenty of fresh dirt to use. Illegal wars, killing and treasury looting. Go figure. It got us nowhere. This country is lost if billboards in the OP are permitted. Lost if we remove them, lost if we shit on an elected President who to my knowledge has yet to break a law.

7. Don't feel bad
I'm from New York and I'll have the pleasure of voting against a porn-loving, anti-gay candidate for governor and a racist anti-semite for congressman. Every state has their crazies.

9. Yeah I Know
We have a Misogynist in the republican Ken Buck for Senate and a Bigot in Tancredo for Governor. I will have that same pleasure voting against these two clowns.

then again I am FOR Voting for Hickenlooper (Governor) and Bennet (Senate) is still a dem even if he is a conserva-Dem.

14. I'm very proudly voting
for Andrew Cuomo and Nita Lowey - neither are in any real danger but have relatives in Denver and Littleton so I've been watching your races very closely.
