Stewart to Cantor: GOP only limits government 'to the sh*t they want to do'

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) is on a tour promoting his new book "Young Guns" but he may have gotten more than he bargained for when he sat down with Comedy Central's Jon Stewart Tuesday.

***

"You voted for No Child Left Behind. You voted for Read I.D. You voted for the Medicare bill which was a trillion dollars unfunded. You voted for the Patriot Act. In what way are you a limited government -- in what way do you want to shrink government because your record clearly is not -- doesn't speak to that?" Stewart pressed.

"We understand we got fired and there was a reason," replied Cantor.

Later in the interview, Stewart concluded that it's a "fallacy that limited government is the principled stand of conservatives. It's only limited to the sh*t they want to do."

2. No, you didn't get fired, asshole!
Otherwise, you would not still be in your job. You would have put your shit in a small box and left the building.

3. I couldn't do it ...
I flipped to HBO after the first half of his show, because while he does such a fantastic job with wingers, Cantor is the kind of arrogant, smarmy little puke that I just could not watch it ...
