All 33 miners have been rescued.
The President of Chile said that he would look at the legislation to ensure that safety would be better monitored and regulated.

Although this was caused by a poorly regulated mining industry, the success of this rescue has made mining safer for all. No company can just walk away from a mining collapse again and just declare the workers dead.

(PS I love the Mission Cumplida CHILE sign).

3. They were until the "shows" came on -- Tweety, KO, Rachel. They were
breaking away every once in awhile during Tweety.

CNN kept it pretty much Live until Spitzer's show came on, but that ended up covering the last miner arriving topside.

Now Larry King has Michael Moore on and they're showing footage of it again.

(Yes I do know it is the station you get when your plane is cancelled)

I give great credit to the President of Chile for this. Normally a visit from the President of Chile to Europe would gain little coverage, when he has a "cup of tea" with Cameron I think he will get a heroes welcome.
