CNN reports that the rapper T.I. helped Atlanta police persuade a man not to jump off the 22-floor Colony Square Hotel in Atlanta. However, this week is T.I.'s probation revocation hearing after T.I. was arrested for possessing an undisclosed amount of marijuana in September. T.I. is currently on probation on weapons charges.

While T.I.'s music generally falls under the "gangsta rap" subgenre, in recent years he's succeeded on the charts with more positive songs like "Whatever You Like", "Live Your Life", "Dead and Gone", and "Got Your Back". His more "street" songs include "U Don't Know Me", "Swagga Like Us", and "24's".
