The current batch of batshit crazy Republican candidates has been the biggest boon
to a demoralized Democratic base. Sure a few months ago, we were feeling so neglected by our own team that many of us were giving the voting and the GOTV the big fuck you. Our team hasn't really done much to make us feel less neglected but the wackos have made participating not only necessary but fun! We get to enjoy the antics of O'Donnell and Whitman and still slap them down when the time comes. I thought we were gonna have to wait for 2012 and Failin Palin the wonder idiot for any fun. Silly me.

These last few weeks have been chock full of mockable moments and the hits just keep on coming. I'm sure Jon Stewart is having the easiest time lately.

2. The House is still in a huge danger of falling into the Republican's control. (nt)

3. We have two more weeks of hilarity and mockage
By then, we will all vote and those of us who haven't recently broken toes will be walking the precincts and heck, I might even be able to come up with a pretty good phone spiel. All this thanks to the Republicans.

4. I actually harbor the belief that the Democrats actually wanted to throw the midterms
They seem hardwired to act like the minority even when they are in the majority. Sadly, the Republicans are also hellbent on throwing it and I think they are going to "win" the losing game. It's sad that we're going to win because they are more determined than the Dems to lose but I'll take it.

Besides, I don't know if anyone told you, but with "Citizen's United", it's all bread and circuses from here on out. (D) and (R) aren't going to mean a hill of beans unless they stand for Diebold and aRco.

So really, the show is bought and paid for so we might as well enjoy it, right?
