Psst!! Hey, guys, CNN is about to broadcast a piece on my medical cannabis case (!!!)

Good late morning, all y'all. I just got the call from a CNN producer that the profile of my medical marijuana case, and our efforts here in Tennessee to pass the Safe Access to Medical Cannabis Act, will be aired for the first time in less than three hours -- at 12:25 pm Eastern time to be exact. (It is also scheduled already to be repeated between 3-5 pm and likely will be re-aired later this evening and tonight.)

I will post a separate thread later today once a link to the CNN story is available -- likely around 3:00 pm. 'Til then, I wanted to give a "heads up" to my favorite on-line community in hopes that some of y'all can watch the "premiere" of the piece with me.

My life (at least the last eight years of it) in 2 minutes and 53 seconds of CNN time. Whew!

Need to go split some wood so I can avoid splitting in anticipation before the piece airs. The CNN crew spent two days with me and they also interviewed Senator Beverly Marrero (the Safe Access sponsor) and the widow of one of the people I helped. They have lots to work with -- it will be curious to see what they do with it.

OK, guys, that's my shameless self-promotion (for now). Hope some of you can catch the piece with me in less than three hours. (2 hours, 38 minutes ..., but who's counting.)

I can't remember if I was watching CNN or HLN but they recently featured a story about Prop. 19 and reported that there are many in law enforcement advocating legalization in that it will actually reduce crime. Unfortunately, the guy they dug up to interview for the "pro" side was a some guy in t Amterdam via a very bad Sype connection. I was thinking, "What, they couldn't find a representative from the California NORML chapter to provide a much clearer feed and address the topic at hand in re to California and not Amsterdam.? Anyway, I'll be watching.

I to know that helicopter noise above too well... I am a 54yr Old Patient in California with 2ea recommendations for Cannabis..
I was visited last summer by my local Police and had my Garden confiscated with the threat of Felony arrest for cultivation..
Police took all my plants and gear.. Then Left.. I have not heard a thing from them since...
I do not own a home just rent... No Children at home.. My wife is also a Patient and very disabled as well.. So I had nothing of value for them to really go after I guess...
I was told by one Officer to take my growing inside and secret.. That way no one will complain and the Police won't have to respond....
MY point is that this issue is not about Justice in America...Or following the Laws... Its about Political Power and Cash.....
Even in States where Medical Cannabis is legal by state laws.. The Local Cities, Counties, and LEOs re interpret the laws to subvert the states laws to raid, shut down, and arrest.. All using the excuse these things violate their local Ordinances or pulling the Felony charge out if they can... No Due Process of Law is used in these cases... But yet here we are today.....
This Insanity has to stop now....

that it's always "smoked". I feel it projects too often to people who are against what they've most often haven't tried or who've seen
the movie "Reefer Madness" and have always believed that is what happens if you smoke cannabis, and then the next thing you know you're
hooked on heroin. LOL
We need more people like you Fly by night who can try to inform the uninformed that it can be used in a variety of ways; as a balm or ingested.
Fourteen states ! Another five years and we'll have the alternative help that is our right to choose to use. It's a fight against the
Pharmaceutical companies and that's a big lobbying offense to crack.

I have Fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, Spinal stenosis, and I'm just coming off spine surgery (fusion with all the
titanium hardware they could fit) which was necessary for a fractured vertebrae. So there's an upside to traditional medicine.

However there's no need for my entire body to have to endure feeling like a toothache in need of a root canal 24/7 when a plant could
possibly give me relief.
The logic that a person can drive to a liquor store, buy a couple bottles of alcohol, drink and drive and possibly
harm someone (you surely know the number of fatalities caused by alcohol related accidents, if not ask some members of M.A.D.D.) is so absurd
and insulting that they are allowed to get away withholding that which is not theirs to begin with.

Sorry you had to lose precious time enjoying life Fly by night when convicted.
