1. since suicide ends life, i done see how it can be a lifestyle. that implies a continuing of life
in and of itself.

but it is a choice.

though a fucked up, out of the world, messed up choice.

3. I was going to post this as a poll question a month ago.

"Is suicide a lifestyle choice?" It was based on other threads floating around DU about lifestyle choices. I thought it was too controversial. I guess not.

5. She said that BEING GAY was a "lifestyle choice"
Edited on Thu Oct-14-10 10:32 AM by rocktivity
The problem is, she IMPLIED that gays who choose suicide as a deathstyle deservedly suffer the consequences of making the "wrong" choice.

6. She knew what she was saying. You don't accidentally use the term "lifestyle choice".

10. I LOVED her apology "IF" she offended anyone, "IF"
You say things you mean when you speak freely, which she was doing.

14. Whoever "she" is, that is a typical Repuke/conservative apology:
a nonapology that disrespects its target.

12. How about bi-sexuality?
Since they are attracted to both sexes, is it a life-style choice? Are people born bi-sexual? Is it just they way they are wired?
I honestly don't know the answer, so enlighten me. I try to put myself in their shoes, but that hasn't resolved anything for me.
Is it the same as being homosexual or heterosexual or is it something entirely different? Orientation or choice?

A disease that can strike anyone. It has nothing to do with the events of a person's life.
